Rain or Shine, 4th of July Events Carry On

Despite rain in the forecast, organizers for 4th of July events in Wessington Springs will carry on with planned events. Wessington Springs Volunteer Firemen say their annual fireworks show is a go for now and a final determination will be made by parade time at 2 p.m. 

If rain does end up postponing the fireworks show today, firemen say they will put on the display at some point this 4th of July weekend.
