May is SACOTA Membership Month

Springs Area Council of the Arts (SACOTA) holds its membership drive each year during the month of May. The group depends on annual memberships to support its programs during the year. Individuals and businesses who contribute in this manner are providing a financial foundation that makes it possible for SACOTA to present quality concerts and other events for the community and surrounding area at very affordable prices.

Events already scheduled include co-sponsorship of Shakespeare Garden’s “Music in the Garden”, a Medieval Arts Exhibition and Plein Air painting event in July, Rummage Sale Rescue during Foothills Days, the annual Fall Craft Fair in October, and “Art in the Classroom” during the school year.

On May 13 at 5:30 p.m. in the Springs Inn, SACOTA will hold its annual meeting. All are welcome, come meet the SACOTA board members and find out about planned activities for the year.

Anyone wishing to support these activities and become a member may remit $15 for individuals and $30 for family or business memberships to SACOTA, PO Box 1, Wessington Springs, SD 57382. You may also give member dues to one of the SACOTA board members, including Carrie Azure, Becky Easter, Julie Fastnacht, Gwyneth Fastnacht.
