Penny and I went to Pierre for our grandson’s fourth birthday party…. we had celebrated his baby sister’s first birthday the weekend before.

We stayed overnight with our kids and had a pretty good time flying battery-powered, remoted-controlled airplanes, playing backyard softball and enjoying time with family and fabulous weather.

I got up on Saturday morning, headed for the shower and crawled in. After groping around for a few minutes (I didn’t have my glasses on), I finally found the “body wash”. I’m kinda’ old school and still prefer a bar of soap, but the body wash was going to work. Upon opening the plastic bottle, I found it smelled a lot like a clean baby.

Oh well, body wash it is. When it came time for a shampoo, I managed to make out the image on the bottle and slathered some on. It smelled like strawberries.

I went to the birthday party smelling like a clean baby that had been eating strawberries! It would’ve been worse, I suppose, if I’d gone to the party smelling like a “not clean” baby.             -Craig
