SOME OF THE PHEASANTS Forever organization members are pictured as they set up for their annual fund raising banquet and auction last Sunday morning. The event featured a steak supper, social hour and the auction that saw a number of high quality guns, prints and other items related to pheasant hunting. A highlight of the event was artist John Green who was on hand with an oil painting made especially for the event. The painting brought $4,100. The proceeds will go to pheasant habitat. The local chapter is strong in youth programs and sponsor a youth hunt each year. A gun drawing for youth hunt participants took place with Blake Messmer the winner.
