The event, held in the Community Room of the historic Jerauld County Courthouse, provided an opportunity for local residents to hear from politicians and to share ideas before the primary election to be held on June 8.

Candidates for Governor and U.S. House were introduced by County Chair Gail Arnott and each was given time to share brief comments on priority issues.

Former SD Governor Walter Miller and his wife Pat were introduced, along with several candidates for constitutional state offices.
