The tour will be held this Sunday night, December 13, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The tour of the community’s Christmas lights will be provided free of charge, including free bus fare on the Springs Community Bus, compliments of the chamber. Free refreshments will be offered to tour participants at Anne Hathaway Cottage.
Tour participants are asked to begin meeting at the Humm Dinger convenience store beginning at 5:30 p.m. Bus riders will be encouraged to vote for their favorite displays in two categories.
Refreshments will be served to the public at the Anne Hathaway Cottage at Shakespeare Gardens from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Anyone participating on the tour will also be brought to the Cottage for refreshments.
People who choose to provide their own transportation to view the lights that night are also encouraged to stop at the cottage for free refreshments.
In other business the chamber finalized plans for Santa Saturday on Saturday, December 19. Treats will be donated by the Broken Heart Ranch. Bingo and a SACC chilli feed are also planned for that day.
The Chamber’s annual Farm and Home Show is planned for February 15, 2010.
Officers for the 2010 chamber year include Matthew Orstad, president, Charlie Bergeleen, vice-president, and Cheryl Manthi, secretary/treasurer. Jerry Caffee is the out-going chamber president.
