Country singers return to Opera House for one show on Saturday

Wessington Springs native Dustin Evans and hot new recording artist Jerrod Niemann will perform a show at the Wessington Springs 1905 Opera House on Saturday, May 22, at 5:00 p.m.Tickets are on sale on a first-come-first-served basis for $12.00 per person. Proceeds from the show will benefit the Opera House.Evans and Niemann held a similar show at the opera house a few years ago.

Dustin Evans, originally from Wessington Springs, South Dakota, continues to tour extensively with Dustin Evans & Good Times, as well as the late Chris LeDoux’s band, Western Underground. Although his most loyal following is still in the Upper Midwest, Dustin has performed in 35 states, and has five albums to his credit, most recently charting with his military tribute, “If I Die Before You Wake”.

Nieman single is currently in the Country top 20

 

Jerrod Niemann may be a fresh voice on the country airwaves, but this Kansas native has already been making a name for himself, both as a performer and a respected songwriter, best-known for co-writing Garth Brooks’ “Good Ride Cowboy.” His debut single, “Lover, Lover” is currently in the Top 20, and continues to climb. The entire album will be released by Sea Gayle/Arista Nashville this summer.
