Members of the Mission Team at Avera Weskota Memorial Medical Center and Weskota Manor Avera are shown with a “Box of Socks” which will go to the Food Pantry for families in need.. During the holidays a box of socks, mittens & scarves were collected from employees. The items were donated to the Food Pantry.

The Mission Team has been holding mission meals throughout the year with funds going to families & individuals in need. Earlier this year the Mission Team held a school supply drive and donated items to the Food Pantry.

The goal of the Mission Team is to educate and integrate the mission values throughout the facility through discussions at staff department meetings and in-services. That mission is carried into the community by making a positive impact in the lives and health of persons and our community by providing quality services guided by Christian values. In caring together for life, the Avera Health community is guided by the gospel values of compassion, hospitality and stewardship.
