POWER LINE CONSTRUCTION CREWS are building a new line along the Crow Lake road, southwest of Wessington Springs. This crew is the Shulty Power Line Construction out of Gillette, Wyoming. Other crews from different companies are also busy rebuilding lines. They are contracted by Central Electric. Many of the lines they are working on were damaged by an ice storm last winter when temporary fixes were made with many miles of pole and line replacement beging done. The project should help cut down power blackouts in the rural area.
