THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO FLOODING FROM THE MAY 21, 2010 THUNDERSTORM IN WESSINGTON SPRINGS
The 27th Annual Prairie Hills Art Show will be held this week on Friday and Saturday the 25th and 26th, at the Opera House. The show is sponsored by SACOTA.
Entry blanks must be sent or called in by the 23rd, and delivery of all entries to the Opera House is on Friday the 25th from 3 to 6 PM. Anyone having an unusual item for the “What’s it” display should deliver it during those times also.
The doors will be open to the public for viewing at 6:00 PM Friday, with a program by Kayla (Bergeleen) Mohling at 8. Kayla will entertain again at 2:30 PM on Saturday. Refreshments will be served both days.
Judging will take place on Saturday morning, and at 12 PM the doors will be open to the public, at which time the judges will be doing their critiquing. After the 2:30 program the prizes will be awarded. Pick up time for all entries is at 4 PM.
