Three Wessington Springs soldiers of the 180 members of Bravo Battery B, 1st Battalion, 147th Field Artillery arrived home safely on Thursday, October 23, 2008, at Joe Foss Field in Sioux Falls after spending 10 months overseas in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Among the soldiers of the Bravo Battery were, from left, Chris Grieve, the son of David and Marlene Grieve, Mike Gohring, the son of Kenneth and Mary Gohring, and Steve Bridgman, son of Casey and Valinda Bridgman, all of Wessington Springs.
