Springs Auto is first in women’s state bowling

THE SPRINGS AUTO WOMEN’S BOWLING TEAM won the state bowling tournament in Brookings with a score of 2634. Team members Marie Wood (left) and Mette Ness (right) are shown above at the honors banquet, held at Cedar Shore Resort in Chamberlain on August 1. Other team members included Mary Reider and Dayna Hohn. Brian Voss, PBA champion bowler (center) handed out all of the awards. The team members received matching USBC coats.
