The Wessington Springs U12 Soccer Team, under the coaching of Lance Witte, recently participated in the South Dakota Soccer Tournament in Rapid City. Of the fourteen teams signed up for the U12 bracket, Wessington Springs was the smallest town and one of the smallest teams present with ten players (eight players are on the field at a time). With one of the only co-ed teams participating, few subs, and cold rainy weather, the team gave it their all and placed fourth in the tournament!
