A big hello to all the good folks in Wessington Springs. Hopefully there are a few around that still remember me. I am writing this letter as an apology.

Recently the Redfield Area Arts Council put on a production of Damn Yankees. One of their advertising schemes was to introduce a few hall of fame baseball players from the Redfield area between acts of the three productions.

To make a long story short, I listed Wess. Springs in my resume and it was not listed when the article came out. I called them for ;a correction & it came out the second time as playing for Wessington.

With all of these errors, I wanted to correct this error as I am sure there are a few folks in the Springs area that get the Redfield paper.

Thank you for the opportunity to correct this issue. Thank you from Mardelle and I for all the great memories and good friends. I always refer to Springs as “The small town with a big heart.” Great Baseball Town…………….
