AREA TRACTOR ENTHUSIASTS took part in the fall Foothills Tractor Drive last Saturday, September 19th. The event was a poker run with cards handed out at several stops along the way. The group with their tractors are pictured at the first stop at the Keith and Betty Gunderson farm. From left are: Dana Fagerhaug, Vernon Schimke, Fred Knight, Hub Kieser, Lee Zastrow, Jerry Voorhees, Neal Barber, Darrel Jensen, Rosie Jensen, Ralph Winegar, and Walt Borkowski. Back up was provided by Judy Winegar with lunch and porta-potty and Laura Kieser was official photographer and back-up. The Foothills Tractor group also hosts the annual classic car and tractor show on Springs’ Main Street each year. Other stops along the way were the Val & Dawn Luckett farm and Dennis and Sandy Beckman farm. The group had a great time on a nice afternoon on their trip around the Wessington Springs Wind Farm.
