LAST SUNDAY EVENING marked a milestone for the Shakespeare Garden Society. The organization hosted their annual Christmas Open House for the 20th time. It all started back in 1989 and the open house has hosted a large variety of programs to mark the holiday season. Some of the board members on hand to serve cider and goodies last Sunday evening are, from left: Kathy Dean, Cheryl Salmen, Linda Boschee, and Sharon Krueger. The open house was held in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce Tour of Lights as the Springs Area busses made the cottage the last stop for treats in the beautifully decorated cottage. Other people in the community were also invited to attend.
