SANTA AND HIS ELF made their annual appearance on Wessington Springs Main Street to give out a bag of goodies to area boys and girls. The picture above shows many of the children who came to see Santa last Saturday, December 19th. Santa is sponsored by the Wessington Springs Chamber of Commerce with a ride provided by the Wessington Springs Volunteer Fire Department. Each child was given the opportunity to chat with Santa and have their picture taken by local photographer Joyce Krueger. The pictures were then printed out by True Value Hardware and the pictures are given to the parents free of charge. Be sure to stop at True Value Hometown Hardware to pick up your free picture with Santa. Tony Hoarty helped out as the elf while Santa looked a lot like Ed Gray of Lane who works for Darrell’s Rock, Sand and Gravel.
