Easter activities for young and old

TRUE DAKOTAN PHOTO/DUKE WENZEL

ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR holiday events in Wessington Springs was held at the city park last Saturday. Kids of all ages assembled for the annual Chamber of Commerce Easter egg hunt. They were split into three age groups and sent scurrying for their Easter treasure. They are shown as a group in the photo at the top of the page. Residents of Weskota Manor Avera dyed Easter eggs on Good Friday, April 2. The residents are shown (above) as they enjoyed the egg dying project. Volunteer assistants included Michael and  Ethan Edzards, and Lloyd and Margaret Kraft’s grandkids Ryan and Tyler Kraft and Tanner and Logan Heim. Manor activities coordinator is Penny Wenzel
