WE HAD JUST been talking about John Green moments last week when Dan Kruse, city street superintendent, told us about two turkeys standing next to a deer in the northwest corner of town. By the time we got there, just the half-sized deer was there. The turkeys had moved on. It still made a nice scene along an old trailer running gear… just not quite a John Green moment.
