LINDSEY METTLER of Wessington Springs chose a subject she loves for her first place entry in the high school division at the Prairie Hills Art Show. It shows a line of girl track runners coming out of the blocks at Spartan Field.

The annual Prairie Hills Art Show was held at the 1905 Opera House on June 26 and 27. The results are:
