27th Annual Prairie Hills Art Show held

SUBMITTED/JOHN SCHMIDT --Peg Olson was awarded the first place prize in the adult art division at the 2010 Prairie Hills Artr Show, held at the Opera House last weekend.

The 27th Annual Prairie Hills Art Show sponsored by SACOTA was held at the Opera House on July 16 and 17. It was a great success due to the many folks who entered, came to view it, and helped so willingly through it all.

Judges for the show were Jim Kost for photography and Sandy Krage for Art. Both are from Mitchell. Saturday afternoon entertainment was provided by Kayla Mohling.

The “What’s It” display was enjoyed by many. There were 16 items on display. The most correct guessed 7 of them. Tying for this prize were Audree Edwards and Lloyd and Audrey Kempf. For those who guessed and did not hear the answers they were:
