Roger D. Williams, 84, of Plattsburg, MO, died October 8, 2009. He was a former resident of Dell Rapids and Wessington Springs, SD. While in Wessington Springs he owned the livestock auction barn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Olga.

Roger was in farming and the fertilizer business for many years. He bought butcher cattle for 25 years and was head buyer for four plants for the Dubuque Packing Co.

Grateful for having shared his life are one daughter, Nancy Jo (Tom) Evans, and two grand children, Erin and “Emily Evans, all of Plattsburg, Mo.

A committal of ashes service will be conducted inthe spring of 2010 at Holland Cemetery, Centerville, SD.
