Raymund H. Forst

Raymund H. Forst, 89, of Mankato, MN died Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Pathstone Living Community. Funeral services were held March 30 at Mankato Mortuary. Burial was in Woodland Hills Memorial Park.

Raymund was born on July 2, 1920 in Lane, SD to William E. and Lilly (Hoffmann) Forst. He was a graduate of Lane High School. He went on to attend Mankato Commercial College.

Raymund was united in marriage to Bernice Domas on April 9, 1944 in Worthington, MN. He was self-employed in typewriter sales and service. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Manktao. He enjoyed deer and pheasant hunting, fishing, gardening, and most of all, traveling the world by cruise ship, bus or car.

Raymund is survived by his daughters, Nancy Forst and husband Felton Williams of Minneapolis, and Joyce Forst of Eagan, MN; brothers Edwin (Lilli) Forst of North Mankato and Arthur Forst of Wessington Springs; a sister, Evelyn (Max) Satterlee of Iowa/Texas; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Bernice, and sister Darlene Hildebrand.
