Jasmyn Nicole Knippling, 17, of Wessington Springs died Saturday morning December 5, 2009 as the result of a one vehicle accident.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday Dec. 9, 2009 at the Wessington Springs Elementary School Gym. A scripture service will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 at the church. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Jasmyn Nicole Knippling was born March 15, 1992 in Bismark, ND to Stephanie Ternes and Monte Knippling.
Jasmyn was a senior at Wessington Springs High School. She was active in music and basketball. She loved to draw and do art projects, her three dogs and hanging out with her friends. She was employed at Weskota Manor Nursing Home. She was loved by, her family, friends and her residents. Jasmyn had a smile worth a million.
Jasmyn is survived by her mother Stephanie Ternes, her father Monte Knippling 2 brothers Logan and Lane and a sister Taylor all of Wessington Springs, her paternal grandparents John and Cheryl Knippling of Gann Valley, SD and her maternal grandparents Baldwin and Irene Ternes of Bismark, ND.
She was preceded in death by two uncles, Herbert James Ternes and Joseph Eugene Ternes and a cousin Thomas John Blake.
