Chris Wahl

Chris Wahl, age 61, of Lane, died Saturday, March 16, 2024, at his residence. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Basham Funeral Services in Wessington Springs.

Chris was born December 5, 1962, in Huron SD to LeRoy & Lorene (Jenner) Wahl. He was a graduate of Huron High School and attended Phoenix Institute of Technology.

He enjoyed baking bread, pizza, ice cream, fishing, TV sports, trips to the library, birdwatching, gardening, working on cars, and his cat family. But his greatest joy was found in helping friends and neighbors.

He is survived by his mother, Lorene Cavigielli and sisters, Laurie (Randy) McMillan, Stacy Wahl, stepbrothers, Jim (Denise) & Gary (Cathy) Cavigielli, step-sister Linda Parsley and their families.

Preceding him in death was his father, LeRoy E. Wahl, stepfather, Jim Cavigielli, and grandparents Emil & Dorothy Jenner and Chris & Pauline Wahl.
