Body

Founded in 1975, the True Dakotan has honored the tradition of local businesses and organizations placing Christmas greetings to express appreciation to their valued customers.

Since then, much has changed when it comes to the landscape of the local business over the course of 48 years, but one thing that has remained the same is the traditional published greetings at Christmastime.

While it is important to decorate their storefronts and offer holiday specials, the Christmas greetings in this issue are local merchants’ way of communicating and thanking their most important assets — you, their customers.

We encourage you to take the time to read each one in both sections of this week's special print and e-edition, as more than 40 area businesses and organziations express their gratitude and wish you “Merry Christmas.”
