Thank you Wessington Springs for helping maintain the blood supply in South Dakota

LifeServe Blood Center held a blood drive on Tuesday, February 13, and had a good turnout. Twenty-one people registered to donate, 20 donors were able to donate and 28 units of life saving blood were donated. Thank you to every donor who participated in the drive and helped to boost the LOCAL blood supply. The units donated at the blood drive can help save up to 84 lives. There were three donors who hit milestone donations and they are listed below:

Milestone Donors

01 GALLONEER - TEDD RIEKE

03 GALLONEER - ELTON KAUS

04 GALLONEER - BECKY KRUEGER

Special thanks to the Jerauld County 4-H Building for the use of their facility and to Mette Ness and Gloria Vavra for being our local contacts. We could not help patients in our 39 South Dakota hospitals without communities like Wessington Springs and your loyal blood donors.
