HEAVY FROST HAS PROVIDED some beautiful winter scenes around the area over the past couple of weeks. The canon on the lawn at the American Legion building on the south side of town is show beside a frosty cottonwood tree. The frost can be troublesome when it combines with ice to coat power lines. The city electric crew was called out last Thursday morning as ice and frost had caused an outage in the south part of tower. A few outages were also reported in various rural areas around the county with the Central Electric crew being called out.
